1. Hold the slide up towards a light to determine the orientation of the scan. You want the image to face you right-side up.
2. Locate the Slide Tray. The side labeled “THIS SIDE UP” should be facing you.
4. Open the slide tray carefully, and place the slides into the tray.
5. Close the slide tray and press the edges making sure they are locked in place.
7. Clean the backlight in the scanner by using the included cleaning brush.
6. Insert the tray into the opening on the right side of the Film Scanner to begin.
8. Select the "Slide Film" setting in the film type menu.
8. Select the "Slide Film" setting in the film type menu.
9. In the Main Menu mode press OK to enter capture mode. If the image is not oriented correctly, you can press the left button to mirror and press the right button to flip the current picture.
10. Then press SCAN/MENU then press OK to capture the picture.
