Why are my photos cropped?
As our film scanners can digitize a wide variety of film shapes and sizes, larger film formats may experience a very slight cropping effect. This should be very minor.
If a large portion of your image is cropped, return to the menu and confirm you have selected the appropriate film size and that you are using the correct film holder.
If you are scanning a portrait-oriented image, it may be best to scan it as landscape and rotate it once it's saved to a computer. This will prevent excessive cropping of the top and bottom of the image.
