First Time Set Up
It is recommended to use the included basket if cleaning sharp objects to prevent damage to
the tank. The plastic basket can absorb some vibrations from the ultrasonic cleaner, decreasing
the machine’s cleaning ability. While the impact of the basket is small, for best performance only
use the basket when necessary.
Note: It is recommended to wait 5-10 minutes between cleaning cycles to allow the unit to cool
down and prevent overheating.
Deep Cleaning
-
Using the ultrasonic cleaner with water will clean most items. For items that need a deeper cleaning use the below tips.
-
Water should be added only until the object is covered. Do not fill to the MAX fill line unless it’s necessary to cover the object.
-
A very small amount of jewelry cleaner concentrate or mild dishwasher detergent can be added to the water for additional cleaning power.
Note: Ensure the detergent is non-corrosive and safe for contact with skin. Do not use with Acetone. -
If dirt and grime remain after cleaning, then a cloth or soft brush can be used to help loosen it before running it through another cleaning cycle in the ultrasonic cleaner.
